A couple of years ago, my oldest daughter was going through some pretty bad trials in her life. She was in a bad relationship, focusing only on this person, who eventually brought her to a very dark place. She was very lost. She began hurting herself. Someone finally stood up to her and got the courage to tell me what was going on. We were shocked, to say the least. The one person in our family who seemed to have it all together did not. I confronted her and she broke down. I told her we’d get her some help. I immediately hit my knees that day and prayed like I had never prayed before.
She counseled with Bro. Kenny a few times, but also got medical help. So many of her friends, my friends, and my family were earnestly in prayer for her over those months. Today, she is healthy, happy and doing so much better. Like all of us, she is still a work in progress, but she has come such a long way from that darkness that almost took over her. I KNOW, without one doubt, that our God did this. I now pray for my daughter to remain on this path, but also am in constant awe and want to praise Him for all he has done for my beautiful child.
