Lent 2018
Lent is the 40 days before Easter, not including Sundays. It is a time set a part to give consideration to the 40 days Jesus spent fasting and being tested by satan in the desert before He began his ministry. Even Jesus set Himself apart for a time on several occasions to call on and be strengthen by God as an example to us that in our busy lives. We need focused time with God to live in this lost and broken world.

This is an update and prayer request list from the school where Allison volunteers.
Emmanuel International Academy is an English medium Christian school which is comprised of students from all religions and creeds, high and low caste and various ethnic groups. The love of Christ is shared with one and all. The school which is affiliated to Delhi Board is growing tremendously in both academic excellence and co-curricular activities. We have recently applied to upgrade to class XI and XII in arts stream.
Prayer Items
- That we continue to maintain the true spirit of Christian school despite circumstances and challenges around us.
- Deeper commitment and dedication from all the staff workers.
- That the Delhi Board may grant permission to upgrade to Class XI and XII (Senior High)
- Emmanuel’s Bus was hit by a reckless truck driver recently. Pray for God’s provision to repair the Bus.
- Pray for School Administrator, Chichi Kashung and Principal Dr. Jilda Marbaniang.
